I, too, get the whistling and can't work out what causes it.   I just assume my machine is happy and whistling while it works  ;D ;D

Do the whistling for it yourself Chookie - I'll have to listen to see if mine does that.  I think it did a while back but lately I have been having a break from cooking and poor Rowdy is not getting used much.  Sometimes you cook yourself to pieces and need a rest. Buying a new car has been taking up all of our time lately.

Toyota Corolla Sedan, nothing flash but I've always liked them and the boot is big enough for me to lift the wheelchair into and DH was suitably impressed with the size when he sat in it.

Judy ,  how exciting,  to get what you wanted and to fit the wheelchair in.  Nice car.  Good time of the year to buy,  when the end of year tax.   We haven't had a brand new car for 50 years.  Last 2 demo models.

good on you JD - you will enjoy the Toyota.  very reliable.

my TMX is whistling as I write this on speed 5 making hot chocolate - but the sound doesn't really bother me so as long as it's not indicative of a problem, I can live with it.

Judy how exciting. My DH thinks they are the best little cars on the road. DD had one for her first car and it was wonderful.  What colour did you buy?
