Actually the entire thing has only about 1300 calories, but they are all sugar. DH is consuming it.

I was looking through some old scrapbooks yesterday and found a couple of recipes that an aunt of mine had written out for me. One was green tomato pickle. Another was pickled figs. She was my Dad’s elder sister and would have been born about 1912 or so.

I have a Classic loaf rising and a made a cherry cake earlier.

Cookie, I made some green tomato pickles.  Nice, however the green tomato cake and muffins have proved very popular. Will put the recipe up as I have changed the original one from the Forum.
Visitors on Monday for lunch. Cooked Adam Liaw’s summer Lamb Cassarole. Will reheat and serve with home grown potatoes and zucchini spirals.
More Tomato sauce in TMX.
Stocking up on Hot X Bun ingredients as friend and I are going to make buns for her Elderly Citizen group.

Good on you Chookie. Home made ones will be appreciated.
I’ve just made a batch of biscuits from this recipe f CP’s. https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=11441.msg206399#msg206399

I used macadamias and the new caramilk Choc bits.

Made an Italian Apple cake. Made double recipe and baked in 3 sponge tins.
Also RTE, one dish chicken and rice. Ok , rice enough for 2 meals, that is 8 serves. A bit bland.

Has anyone used Biscoff? DD persuaded me to buy a jar on Saturday. I will look up some recipes.
