The Perfect Brush for Blades on the Thermomix
« on: April 24, 2010, 06:00:39 am »
I have found the perfect brush for the Thermomix. Head down to your local gun shop and ask for a cleaning brush for your M16.  You know the double ended one with three rows of bristles on the wider end and one single row of "you beaut" bristles on the other. Only $8.

Thanks for a great chuckle folks.

just make sure you use a brand new one!!!
Old ones will be full of cordite dust which is used to clean weapons. It is also cancerous.

Out of curiosity Gretch, do you have the TMX Bowl Brush? I have never had the need to clean under the blades with the little brushes since I started using it.  ;D They are only $5.00 and can be used for cleaning the bowl too  :P :P

Thanks for thet Faffa. Yes I do have the brush but find for fine cleaning that pesky bit of dought the gun brush works a treat. One end is really tiny and has stiff bristles. Besides that I love the gun shop. Full of testosterone big time.  :-)) :-)) :-)).

My DH would wish I loved gun shops so that he could get more interest from me when discussing something he has seen on Foxtel - you and DH would get along like a house on fire Gretchen  ;D ;D

I have never been into a gun shop. There used to be one over TheCrone's way, I'm not sure if it's still there. I can just see their face if I go in and ask for a brush to clean my M16. :o :o

I use a baby bottle brush to clean in awkward places, cleans the blades up just nicely.

Absolutely Catsia but not so interesting shopping for a baby bottle brush as shopping for a brush to clean an M16. Amazing what you see in a gun shop. Lots of interesting stuff and up here in the deep north of Queensland with lots of fascinating people in gun shops carrying very big cases.  The vehicles outside are something to behold as is the artwork on the walls of the shop not to mention the artwork on the bodies.  You see people in complete camouflage outfits........or NOT.  ;) ;) ;) ;)
