I think it was unofficially banned cookie as they were trying to enforce a state atheism policy and many people were persecuted when found practicing their religious beliefs.

I remember DH's parents telling us about it and how religion sort of went underground when they were younger.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Ukrainian, although he was born in Australia. His brother wasn't though.

More great photos. The dish with the secret recipe looks great but I'm not sure i would try it after hearing what the ingredients might be. Guess some things are best left a secret.

Must say Gert, I am a bit disappointed there are no DH in the buff photos today. Not warm enough eh? ;) ;D
