What have you been doing today?

We went to the accountant this morning to have our tax done. With the lousy interest rates our income is down rather a lot from last year.

We know how you feel.
Ral got a small drone from DS for his Birthday which was a month ago.  As well as cooking, I will watch while he tries to set it up.

I did some washing and hung it on the clothes drier as it is cold and wet here.  Then did some general household jobs, dusting, cleaning toilets etc.
I'm having my hair cut this afternoon and then a friend is dropping off some oranges, lemons & eggs.  It will be a no contact visit.

Quiet household this morning as DD had a geography Sac . It was a two Crossiant breakfast stuffed with frozen raspberries for DD .
The week is slowly moving along , there is a change with blossom on the trees and a bit of rain . Sunshine I miss after such a beautiful few days of it .

KATI it does hook up on his phone.  He has just had a long session with DS on the phone , helping him set it up.

Sounds like some fun ahead for Ral Chookie.
Today I had to see a special dentist in town before I can start radiotherapy in early September.  Nothing needing to be done, I was very happy about that.
My friend went home today, she has been amazing to have here and has been running me around to all my appointments.  She’ll be back on Monday to accompany me to the funeral of my BIL.

Judy I’m so sorry to read about the death of your BIL. very sad.

I did my grocery shopping this morning and saw the podiatrist this afternoon.

Thanks ladies. This morning I’ve done a little bit of tidying up in the back garden, luckily we’ve had enough rain that I don’t have to water just yet.

Judy sorry for your loss . Keep ticking those appointments off and set small goals will all help with you treatment.
Chookie DS takes great videos and photos , he will have the whole place seen by air . Be warned drones scare sheep too. Keep on you own property as well .
Think we all have cabin fever here , who would have thought going to the bakery would calm the sole a little. Big night ahead with parent teacher interviews tonight for both kids on line .

Had a silver lining today - part shopping ... I finally managed to order some laucke flour for DH's sourdough.  He is very happy as he hasn't been able to get the one he likes for many months.

We went to visit my brother and his wife this morning. I’m supposed to be completing some jobs this afternoon but the budgie is sitting on my hand and chatting to me. I don’t want to disturb him so the jobs will have to wait. 😀😀😀😀😀

Thanks Margaret & Katie. Before I went into hospital I had 2 lunches up there with them and BIL cooked the meal, served It and tidied up afterwards whilst my SIL and I sat with a glass of wine talking our heads off.  I’m so glad I made the effort to visit, it’s so easy with Covid to hold back on visiting people.

It is nice to read some nice reports of what people are doing. ( except for Judy‘S BIL )  We are driving our GD to school today to do an Exam.
