Marina, thank you for your kind thoughts.  I am glad that you are also out of hospital and that your op went well and that your tremors settle down quickly.

Thank you K Atie for your kind thoughts too.  You are quite right about needing lots of protein to build me up.  Lots of Sustagen, milk, butter & cream etc.  I'm sure I will end up like a big flat blimp.

Marina that sounds good , hope the tremors settle down . There’s so much on Netflix, I’m guilty of watching Velvet it’s a series , it’s subtitled . Velvet is the first one .

Made chicken stock paste , I alway keep vegetable stock paste in fridge. But I think this will have to be stored in freezer, what does everyone do ? Also made some more Malaysian curry powder! Now I used cayenne powder instead of chilli flakes - I think I mucked up as this may not be the same . Or it’s going to be super spicy hot .

Thanks for your suggestions, K Atie.  I have hired a few pieces of equipment, but purchased the knee scooter and a 'wedge' shaped pillow for elevation.  Now it is just a matter of getting through the boredom!  At this stage, the worst thing is that my essential tremors have got so much worse, I am hoping once all the drugs have worked their way through my system the tremors will tame down to being something more manageable once more.

Mab thank ful you have an answer now and can over use your TMX . Bone broths might be the go do good for you . Imagine you will need lots of protein to build you up too . Maybe a warm water when eating will help .
Marina can imagine you doing lots of leg moving in bed , you can get all sorts of things to go in the bed to keep the bedding off your foot , just need to hire it !! And I’m sure you have it elevated as well , don’t try to compromise with pillows etc as the hot shops have it all and can deliver. I’m sure you have it sorted .

Mab, good that you can taste. You are a very good cook so I think you will be wonderfully creative.

Margaret, how do you make a pastie without using pastry then.

Judy I just make the pasties as normal for everyone and take the pastry off mine then chop up the cooked meat and veg in the tmx and add some gravy or sauce.  A lot of mucking around but it works.
It’s good that we are such an inventive lot. The TMX has encouraged us to think outside the circle.
GS and friends for dinner. I’m making turkey schnitzel, mashed potatoes, peas and Portuguese Custard tarts. Garlic bread essential.
