I made this as directed, and wow, it's delicious! Very simple, quick and easy. An inexpensive lunch or entree :)

Thanks - I love the combination of carrot & coriander - sad to admit that I missed this one :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

I made this today and it was polished off pretty quickly! Initially I thought I wasn't going to like it as I prefer thick soups and it has a thinner consistency but it tastes fantastic! I used a little less milk than the recipe called for, added one MC of cream when directed and swirled the second MC of cream in to serve. Yum!!

It would be very pretty with the swirl in it.

I made this soup today but thew it out before eating it. I looked more like a milkshake than a soup, tasted it and didn't get the flavours at all even though I love carrot and coriander. Think if i make it again I would add a lot less liquid. Pity as I was looking forward to having it for lunch tomorrow.

I have made this numberous times and it has always been absolutely supurb. It is actually one of my favourites in the book.

Welcome to the forum, Felmingham. What a shame your first posting was for something that didn't work out. I haven't tried this soup yet as I'm not a coriander fan, but it may be worth you trying again as the soup seems to have very positive reviews. We all have disasters at one time or another, maybe try to remember if you deviated from the recipe, however accidentally, and see if your next pot of soup works out better for you.

I think it was just too much liquid - might give it another shot and reduce the amount of liquid.
I am making a few different soups tonight so am sure will love one of them.

I have made this a couple of times, and I personally preferred it without the cream, but I think the recipe is a cracker, made it for dinner parties and it is always a winner.
