I just use Gumption on a soft cloth and have used the old finger trick like Chookie too.
I love gumption, use it all the time....I haven't burnt anything (yet) in the "Therminator"  but will remember that for when I do. ;D

Hi Manda77, I think the easiest thing to make first would be the custard in the EDC book...page 155
Even your kids will be able to make it. My 13 & 11 year old daughters make heaps of food with the 'Therminator' as
we call it.  ;D

Have fun,

Cheers

Mel

Opi,  had exactly the same thought,  but I think I would put it in the plastic bag before it got cool.

Don't put it in warm, it will go soggy from condensation. But putting it in a bag will soften the crust (I work at a bakery)

I have facebook and use it to keep in touch with family and friends (and to keep an eye on what my kids are posting  ;D )
but I think this forum is more personalised and friendlier than the fb page  :-* :-*  so I will just have to do both xx

Hi All,
Can anyone please tell me how to make cappuccino in the TMX? from grinding the coffee beans, to frothing the milk. :)
(if they can also tell me how to get rid of hot flushes I would be eternally grateful)  ;D ;D ;D

Chit Chat / Re: Why make butter?
« on: December 14, 2010, 10:50:44 pm »
Another question from me again LOL!

Can anyone explain to me the benefits of making your own butter? I get the no additives and preservatives bit but is butter healthier for you than margarine? I know it is definitely better to bake with. Would making your own have less fat then buying? Am trying to work out which is the healthiest and best option weight wise to see if it's worth the work of making it myself. Thanks.

I have heard that margarine is 1 ingredient away from being plastic...so I always use butter
