how do l stop forum email

l get so many emails from this forum to my email address and it clogs it up
l have try to go into profile and changed the email settings but still get lots of emails

l just want to recieve no emails from this forum , l check here quite offen so l dont need the emails to let me know

please can someone help ?

Nazar, did you click on 'notifications and emails' when you went into your profile.  You should be able disable all notifications once there.  Just click on all the ticks to make them disappear and for the question 'For topics and boards I've requested notification on, notify me of' choose Nothing at all.
 
I would have thought this is what you do but maybe I am wrong. Give it another try.

I found that after doing the changes log off and then log back in and it should be sorted

now how do l change the time so it is the right time for me here in western australia
it is 5.34pm in real time but forum time tells me it is 09.33.06
l have tryed to work this out before but gave up

This is a tricky one nazar but I asked that same question back in 2009 so have a read of this and see if it is any help.

Hi, Nazar,

Go to forum profile, then look and layout preferences.
You can set the time offset to auto detect if you have entered your location, otherwise adding 8 hours will give you the current WA time.

so then l added 8 there and yahhh  bingo it worked

In forum profile information, I have my location set as WA, so the auto detect added 8 hours for me ( which makes sense if the the forum is hosted in Portugal?)

I came back on briefly yesterday afternoon and thought I had somehow managed to stuff all the settings up, as  the recent posts were set at  something like 02:10:40.... Back to Portuguese time, I thought. After trying lots of times to reset, and wondering what I was doing wrong, let alone thinking I must have given bad advice on this thread, I realised there was a "PM" after the time!

Nazar was up that early it was 4am in the East and we were up chatting with Uni.

yes sue l was up that early my son woke me and l could not get back to sleep
what else is a girl to do that hour in the morning .
l just had to keep the house quite so l came onto the forum and found mcmich and funji on here
