I hope you can get a refund, otherwise you will need that microwave chip maker and everyone to post their favourite potato recipes for you.

Amy, not good.  See if they will refund.  During the winter I often buy 10 K  of potato.   There are only 2 of us.  They will keep well if kept in a dark place.  I have had no trouble when I have returned things to the supermarket.

If you have some freezer space you can cut into chips, par boil and freeze - potato bake - baked potatoes etc. I did this when I bought 10kgs of potatoes on special.

Hopefully you will get a refund.

I'm the 10th generation from my Irish ancestors, so I think the potato gene must have weakened over the years!!

No GF, we're going in this morning with the receipt and the potatoes. Hoping we can return at least some.

12 kilos is not that much, just keep them in a dark place.

12 kg go potatoes won't last long Amy. So much you can do with potatoes. Use instead of pasta or rice.
Lucky you didn't get 12 kg of bananas. Then you would definately go bananas

We would go through bananas more easily than potatoes DG
We don't even have potatoes every day. And mum isn't home so its only the three of us. We usually only buy 8-12 potatoes at a time because we don't use heaps of them

12kg of potatoes is not really that many - send some to me!!!! 
Tho $35 is a bit steep. 
We used about 4-5kg a week for just us, So I buy in 10kg bags always.
Hope they take them back or at least refund you for them Amy.

The trouble with potatoes we get is that they're not that fresh. They sprout within a couple of weeks even when kept in a dark place.
