Also bought a microscope for our GD for her birthday. It is not a toy but the real thing.
This is one of the things I love about Ballarat. So much available , with little effort.
Thats such a lovely gift Chookie, I am sure ur GD would enjoy it... I still remember enjoying my biology labs where we could have a look at Cheek cells, onion cells etc.. it was one of my favs at school :)

TL, that is nice to know.  GD Jilly has an amazing affinity with animals. Wants to do Biology at Uni. Her science teacher told her parents at teacher/ parent interview that she has an unusually good understanding of the science they are studying. We all found this quite amazing as she is very artistic, plays the Bagpipes and is a good swimmer. We didn't think she was that strong academically. She is 14.

What a lovely gift chookie your GD will love it. I'm sure Rak will love his Ride on mower.
Our bargain today was an out door setting getting ready for summer,

Can you see my lovely hanging decoration, that went up on day when I wasn't around, I keep threatening to use it as a hanging basket for some plants lol.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Jenny it is lovely. If we ever get nasty floods you will be right. You can stand on the table to reach the inflatable.

I can't even begin to list all my shopping of late 😄, but a couple were, the Tmx+ mag on preorder,  Tenina's Dinner Spinner (I have the App but prefer the hard copy), and started Christmas shopping for kids online at the Scholastic book sale, well worth a look, some very good prices but a bit of a clunky website.
Also some Tupperware...and new flooring for most of our house including the kitchen ☺

Oh I forgot to mention, a new Kitchen Aid 4 slice toaster, it is beautiful and cooks toast perfectly evenly. Highly recommended ☺
