Totally have forgotten the dress part. Another thing to think about.

With 45 sleeps to go, I should have finished the 40 bags in 40 days challenge and will probably find something to dress up in along the way.
The freezer and pantry should be emptier and hopefully will be on top of the moisturiser situation. Not going well with the weight loss challenge though, yet to start.

Wow, all these challenges... I think I am challenged enough at the moment :-))

My dress up is going to consist of a bow tie. That is all. I'm not good at dressing up and being a dag. Thats Gert's specialty ;)

Perhaps if anyone wanted any of Tenina's books, they could email her and see if she can bring them down to the retreat.  Most of us would have them so it's not like she would have to bring dozens of them and by then the second printing of FFS should have been done.  Tenina are you there, what do you think of this suggestion.

Tenina is still overseas I believe.

G

That's correct Gert, Tenina is still overseas until I believe late next week

Have you watched the Heston Blumenthal episode where the theme was School Dinners ? He made "Spam". I've never eaten the stuff, but apparently it was all the rage in the 70's and was served fried as a good protein source in school canteens.

Dress Up? I didn't see that bit, or, if I did, I've forgotten it. Is there a theme?

Amy, what about making some Curry Powder or Taco Seasoning perhaps?

I'll be bringing a selection of spak filler and will bring shampoo and conditioner as well, CP.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

There's a fantastic curry powder recipe in the Vegetarian Cookbook.

Well, then, what about small jars of jam or relish?

Amy, how about a small cellophane bag of fudge or biscuits
