Great idea Judy. It will save looking around everywhere.
-
Thanks Judy , this is a great idea. Is Thermomixer on the list?
-
Judy, what a great job your doing. Your cape must be lined with diamonds.
Better explain, as you sparkle all the time. LOL

RosieB i have made a few things from that site and i must say i was not at all happy with the end results :(
Oh fundj I really like the baci recipe.
Have you tried that one?
Also my mum made the eggplant rissoles things which were delicious.
What did you make so I won't bother trying?
Rara x
-
Hi Judy
What about farfarlina's blog? I'm cant see it but it's probably already there but I'm too blind/tired to see it :-\ :-))
She has the most delicious zucchini sauce recipe (I made it with pumpkin too)

-
Thanks for this thread Judy, great addition - I have had a document on my desktop since owning TMX (as well as lurking around the forum, actually put it together while waiting for the arrival of thermie!!!!!) Another site for others could be one I so enjoy reading is Valerie's adventures at www.acanadianfoodie.com (http://www.animated-gifs.eu/emoticons-christmas/0014.gif)
-
I often visit joys site
http://www.joysthermomixexperiences.clancie.com.au/Thermomix.htm
-
Thanks for the additions girls. I have also marked the blogs which belong to Farfallina & Thermomixer for those who asked.
I will add the others you have suggested to the list too.
-
Great idea,
thanks Judy, you are a gem.
Robyn :)
-
What about me ???? (channelling my inner Kimmi!)
-
Don't panic Tenina, you're there.
-
OK, now marking in red the names of those you can't seem to find on the list ;D
-
You are a champion Judy (http://www.messengerfreak.com/emoticons/christmas/ho_ho_merry_xmas.gif)
-
As I said above I think this is a great idea. Perhaps if we have made things from this blog we could start a new post and mention what we've tried and our comments.
I'll start with Helene's as I know quite a few of us have made things from there.
-
Don't panic Tenina, you're there.
MAN, I think I am blind…scary!
-
As long as you can still cook. ;)
-
I haven't checked it but Brazen has a huge list on her blog if someone has the time to check that they have all been listed here :-* :-*
-
As long as you can still cook. ;)
rofl !!
-
Just looked at Brazen's Blog Kathryn and at the moment there is no list that I could see.
-
JD when you click on thermomix recipes up the top in the marbled cake image it gives you the list of all the websites she has linked ;D
-
As long as you can still cook. ;)
hahahahahaha! Love it!
-
Thanks frozzie, have added many of them to the list. Not all, if there are any you feel should be there please let me know. If there are any on the list that you don't think fit the bill, please also let me know. If I have left off anyone who has a blog which they think should be on the list, once again please let me know.
-
I have now begun sorting them in alphabetical order but it is very time consuming and forgive me if I take a break from it for the time being. Will get back to it as and when I have time which won't be tomorrow as I will have 5 grand-children to amuse.
-
oh my you had better get to bed early then JD...wow 5 all at once lol...as they say over here 'bon courage' ;D
-
Judy I have just pm ed you the list - use excel and it will automatically sort in alphabetical order, after pasting into an excel document on the RH top of the screen there is a sort and filter tab, click on this - sort A to Z.

-
Wow. If I thought I didn't have enough blogs and sites to look at for inspiration I was wrong!! Now my head is spinning. Here is 1 i had book marked that I dont think is in the list. http://mythermomixhints.wordpress.com/
-
Lisa, I added that one not long ago after remembering I had printed out a recipe from the site.
-
Robyn, thank you so much for your help. You probably did that in 2 seconds whereas it would have taken me ages. :-* Much appreciated.
(http://dl7.glitter-graphics.net/pub/613/613807l5yddaussz.gif) (http://www.glitter-graphics.com)
-
No problem lovely lady, all I did was take your hard work from your post and excel did the rest (http://www.messengerfreak.com/emoticons/christmas/xmas_pressie_dance.gif)
-
If we ever get together Robyn, we won't be discussing food, we will be sitting down at a computer for you to show me all these tricks you know. What is excel ??? :-)) ;D No, don't tell me, I don't want to get confused again ;)
-
Judy excel forms part of Microsoft Office and is an electronic spreadsheet program that can be used for storing, organising and manipulating data. Click on your programs and then go to microsoft office and excel is there together with word and powerpoint - not too confusing!!!!! (http://www.messengerfreak.com/emoticons/christmas/67675.gif)
-
If we ever get together Robyn, we won't be discussing food, we will be sitting down at a computer for you to show me all these tricks you know.
not such a silly thought really. perhaps at get togethers we could get a bit daunted by demonstrating food know how, when we really could benefit more by computer logic as of late the forum has taken off with some little pointers in the right direction...
-
You're a champ JD! Thanks for this post, there's a few I haven't seen so I'll be off to explore!
-
.............as of late the forum has taken off with some little pointers in the right direction...
.....as compared to the wrong direction CP or did you mean left direction - ha, ha (http://mymerrychristmas.com/forum/images/smilies/110.gif)
-
OK I found Microsoft Office but then I get asked to enter my product key and I have no idea what or where that is :-))
So when the spreadsheet comes up, did you just copy the list onto that Robyn and it went neatly into all the little boxes :P
I have never used a spread sheet before and I thought you had to buy additional software for Microsoft Office. I am really showing how dumb I am here, computerwise but it's best to be open about it as others may learn something too. ;D
-
Jd i think i remember you saying you have Windows 7 and office is nô longer a free part of the package however you can use Microsoft office starter...when you click on the start or windows icône on far bottom left of your screen then on all programs then scroll down until you see a folder Microsoft office starter click on that then excel starter and you CAN use that without having to purchase office
Once on spreadsheet ie when excel opens you just copy and paste your text, then sélect it or click on the column letter which Will sélect the whole column then go to the Home tab if not already on it and towards the far right you have the sort button...click on that and sélect how you want to sort your text
Hope this helps and its not too confusing ;D
-
I use excel for Model A money. I can enter on it and make it add up but that is all. I would love to learn more about them as I believe you can do heaps. Perhaps I should buy myself excel for dummies, or borrow it from the library.
-
Or you CAN do like my mil and just ask someone in the know to spend an hour or so now and then...there must be someone in your neighbourhood or tribe lol
-
I can live without it frozzie - everyone is flat out these days, including me. This was the first instance it would have been handy and that doesn't happen very often. Thanks for all the explanations girls, still non the wiser although at least I know how to find excel now :P If I ever have nothing to do (ha) I could fiddle with it but I can't see that happening.
-
Jd the starter form of Microsoft office is free and is what i use as i nô longer have a need for the full office software... It should be where i told you but must have starter written
-
Thanks frozzie, will keep that info in mind.
-
Perhaps I should buy myself excel for dummies, or borrow it from the library.
No need to borrow a book. All Microsoft products have great help functions. Just look under the menus and you will find it. You can read through it (they have great instructions and diagrams) or search using keywords on what you are trying to achieve. I am self taught as I came from an Apple background and have gone on to teach at a TAFE level. Still use the help function if I don't know how to do something. Used it today in fact.

Thanks Judy :)

Judy
I have just found this blog from Snappy one, of our newer members: www.themixingsessions.wordpress.com
-
Good find thanks Marina, nice blog Snappy - it has been added to the list.
-
Thanks!
-
I'm catching up on my reading on the forum (I'm on vacation). I manage to read bits and pieces on the train sometimes but not usually awake enough to post replies. Just wanted to say thanks for adding me to your list, Karen.
Snappy, I just looked at your blog, very nice!

Judy haven't had much to offer lately and forum time is severely limited but have just discovered Food 4 thought Gourmet (http://www.foodfourthought.com.au/) and what a great site it is. :) :)
-
Added to the list Robyn, looks good and another one to browse when I have time :-))
-
I'm lurking more of my own recipes on my Facebook page .. Not sure if it's classed as a blog though.. But you are welcome to link it
www.facebook.com/thermaddicted
I'd love to start a blog but dread transferring all of the recipes I have already done.
-
Lurking??? I'm pretty sure I didn't type lurking....
Anyway I meant putting....
-
Thermoaddicted, at this stage the list is for blogs and websites but of course we can still go over and check out your facebook page from the link given. Just let us know if you do start a blog and it can be added to the list.
-
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/support/training-FX101782702.aspx is the place to go for free online office training.
Love to see all the blogs in one place!
When I ever getting around to having the time I would love to do my own...
-
Thanks for that link, Shayla, I will have to remember that.

Debbie (newbie)
-
Thank you for this list.
-
Thanks for this Judy, another i had missed from my holiday. You guys are always so busy.
-
Thanks Judy for adding me to the list!
Cheers! Joanne
-
This is awesome, b4 my TM (2 weeks ago!) I always struggled with menu ideas, now they seem endless!!!
-
theorganisedhousewife.com.au (http://theorganisedhousewife.com.au) has a section for thermomix recipes too. :D
-
I went over to check it out before adding it to the list astarra but it's down for the weekend ;D Will have another look next week.
-
h yeah, I forgot that when I posted the link :-[
I love this site too, and has TM recipes.... http://retromummy.com/category/thermomix/ (http://retromummy.com/category/thermomix/)
-
Ta, have added the TMX link to the list astarra.
-
Hmmm how did I miss this list?
Thanks JD :-*
-
Is this going to be the size of the type? I am using my iPad and can barely read it, the type is so small. Or maybe it is just my iPad?
-
I'm having the same problem on the iPad Elsie, not sure what it's like on the laptop as mine won't connect to the internet this morning. Today of all days!
-
Thanks, Judy.
-
I've managed to get the laptop to connect, the size of the print is no different on here to the iPad. It only increases slightly when you post a reply for me.
-
I thought I needed new glasses. ;D it's a pity as many of us on here wear glasses and the print size doesn't help. :'(
-
I now have a new website! The URL is http://bushgourmand.com.au. Or, just click this link! The Bush Gourmand (http://bushgourmand.com.au)
-
Nice new blog MJ, I've changed the old link.
-
Just enjoying a browse of your blog, Megan. It looks very clean and easy to get around, well done on all the work setting it up.
I did notice a cross reference to Skinflint here (http://bushgourmand.com.au/index.php/2012/04/11/dairy-free-alternatives/), though ... I am sure you changed your name, but may have missed this reference. If you are still using Skinflint, then ignore this :-[
-
Megan, Blog looks great. Congratulations on the work involved.
Love the idea of the part premixed cake mix but unsure about the number of eggs and water added.
-
I wondered about that too Chookie. Maybe MJ will clarify it for us.
-
Great blog MJ. I have just spent a lovely time browsing through it.
-
A lovely new blog Megan 8)
-
Thanks for that MJ. The blog looks lovely and bright and makes interesting reading.
-
This past year has been pretty exhausting and I've really struggled to find motivation to cook.
So I started a Facebook page as a kind of motivator where I share what I've made with links to recipes. Some are Thermo, some are not, and there are lots of references to the forum. Please feel free to have a look and give it a 'like' if you like. I won't spam your feed.
Thanks to those who have already liked, I really appreciate it :) here's the link if you are interested:
https://m.facebook.com/What-Amber-Ate-1097437023601587/
-
Off to have another peek. Thanks.
-
I was having a look at it earlier, didn't think to 'like' it Amber. Have now done so!
-
Thank you for your 'likes' :)
It's very much in draft form but managing to keep me busy :)
-
I think it is a lovely idea. I have often thought of doing a blog but perhaps a Facebook page would be easier.
-
I think it is a lovely idea. I have often thought of doing a blog but perhaps a Facebook page would be easier.
Thanks Cookie :) I would love if you would start a fb page! I for one would follow it.
I'm starting with this simple option and linking back here to any recipes I convert/invent. I already have a few more in draft form. I've found it really motivational. If I do this regularly enough I will go down the blog option, but this seems the easiest way to start :)
-
Thanks
. DD has had a book blog for several years now. She is well known for her reviews and receives a lot of pre release books to review from publishers.
-
Oh wow! So you have a good helper in the blogging world then Cookie :) what is her blog called? I'm always after good book recommendations, and with publishers sending her books to review, she is obviously a great blog to follow :)
-
It's called samstillreading. She reads all sorts of books. Romance, crime, some fantasy I think and lots of others she is sent. You can sign up for her emails. It's a word press blog if that helps. She works full time but it is quite opposed to her type of work that she enjoys it.
https://samstillreading.wordpress.com/
This is the link. I hope it works for you.
-
Looks great Jamberie, I've just liked your page too. Excited to follow along your cooking journey!
Megan, I'd liked your page last year, but will have a good look around your blog now. Impressed so far!
:)
