I have been making this for years, delicious.
Source, either best recipes or all recipes website, just cant remenber
Serves: 12
Ingredients
1 packet (250g) plain biscuits
100gm butter
100gm sugar
1tsp vanilla
1 large tablespoon cocoa
1 large egg
1/4 cup walnut halves (optional)
Icing
JDs icing recipe
Chocolate butter cream
125g butter - room temperature
3/4 cup (90 g) icing sugar
2 tblspns milk
2 tblspns cocoa
Butterfly in, speed 4 until mixed, scraping down sides
Method
1.Chop biscuits in TM, remove from bwl
2. chop walnut halves in TM remove from bowl
3. Melt butter in TM, 50 & speed 2, keep checking, doesnt take long
4. Add sugar, cocoa, vanilla to TM & mix in
5. roughly beat egg in a glass & add
6. Add crushed biscuits, chopped walnuts, beaten egg. Mix well.
7. Butter a baking slice tin. Tip mixture into tin & press down firmly.
8. Ice with chocolate icing
9. Cut into small squares. Decorate with whatever you fancy.
10. Store in fridge

I've just realised I used to make this years ago. I think we called it chocolate biscuit cake. I loved it.
