Good to hear you liked them, VHJ and zebraa.  I'm making a batch now,  with some soaked whole grain and LSA in them. ;D

Terri,  you can make them the day before.  If you want a soft crust ,  put them in a plastic bag while still warm.  If you want a crisp crust,  let them cool uncovered.
Chelsea, I used 20g of soaked grain and 20g of LSA.  I often add different things for a bit of a change.

Tried these this week, worked beautifully.

I always had trouble with bread being dense in the breadmaker, where as this was lovely and fluffy.

I did plain rolls, bacon and cheese and cheesymite scrolls. The varieties are endless with this beautiful dough!

This is great, as it has no oil, or vinegar, meaning it's failsafe, so my son can share our bread too :)

Thanks so much!

LeeJ,  so glad you liked it.  As you say the varieties are endless.  A plait in the middle of the table, looks great for a dinner party.

Hi There,

I have now made these twice. The first time they seemed a bit dense ( could be the operator as it was my first time) second time i added the bread improver and OMG they are amazing! I feel like a very smug "housewife" as my hubby goes to work with bread rolls made by yours truly! he he he

PS totally agree that bread is like the thermomix, totally addicted as going to go and try and another batch today!

Churchill I empathise with that. I tend to think I want to make bread, what type don't we have in the freezer at the moment. I'm glad you're enjoying it.

I have made pizzette with 30g of this dough

and cooked them on a very hot cast iron pan about 1-2mins on each side

top with nap sauce and cheese, under grill or breville sandwich maker to melt cheese

only made 4 just to try it out. Very nice. Will make more and freeze all ready  made with sauce and cheese
the rest of the dough is in the oven, smells  so good.

Still look for my cord thing to upload photos, I think the kids have it. They hate it when I upload photos of them.

Fundj,  glad you like this recipe.  It is very versatile.  I have just made some rolls and added 30g of LSA.  I'm about to experiment with this recipe by adding garlic butter to the basic dough to see what happens.  Could make a good base for pizzas.

I reduce my photo sizes using the simple paint program.  Scroll through this thread and you will read the instructions I gave to JD on how to do it.  :)
