Received a long-awaited news just now. DS11's result in the Gifted and Talented exam - he is in the top 10% of students!! His place in the top public school near us is probably in the bag...unless he mucks up the interview ;D

So, so, so happy that tears of joy flowed. All whilst I was making spag bol. Guess there's extra ingredients in tonight's dinner :D :)

Congratulations BZB, you must feel very proud. The spaghetti bolognaise was made with extra love.

Very timely with you off to Adelaide next month Denise.  DH doesn't mind babysitting for that weekend?

This is a rarity for me too Bedlam and not guaranteed as every time I plan a day alone some of my family arrive with their children and I am back to square one. So far so good but still early and as school goes back today I may find DD or DIL popping in after dropping off the kids.
So much paperwork of the email variety to catch up on.
Roll on Adelaide  :D

Thank you, lovely friends. His class teacher was so chuffed when I showed her DS11's result. His fabulous teachers have been so supportive, especially her. I bet he will remember her fondly forever :)
