I'll put my thinking hat on for the dessert CP. it would be hard to carry something down without refrigeration so I'll have to get round that. Perhaps even fruit would be fine. I hope to bring some biscuits down at least.
With salads we only need the basics. Perhaps the usual lettuce, tomato, cucumber etc as that is always nice.

My thought is for each house to bring along a salad. Then there won't be too many trying to make salads in the one kitchen.

I was thinking along the same lines as there might be too many people trying to chop and assemble.
Maybe if someone can do a pav even, cos an unfilled one is fine in an airtight container. I've been sitting here this arvo writing up the itinerary and lots of things keep coming to mind.

I'll go and write a pav on my list of things to bring. With strawberries, cream etc. off to do it now.

just remember CP it is all about the company and not the food for this weekend so simple and filling is all I require  :-* :-*

I hope to bring some biscuits / cake as well so let me know if there is anything else that would help out  ;)

Thinking cap is in overdrive at the moment as we are flat out trying to get things organised and finished for our school fathers day stall fundraiser ... if you have any clever cheap crafty ideas please start another thread for me  :-)) :-)) :-* :-*

It's on the list Judy. I was going to buy one to be truthful as I think that will travel the best. Perhaps I should buy two. I can put the cream in a tiny folding cold bag. Perhaps we could decorate it with the lolly teeth we are going to wear for Chookie's granddaughter .

You could probably feed all of us Hally ;D
If we are bringing the meat as well, perhaps I could bring a couple of kilos of fresh fish? If I put it in an esky with plenty of ice it should be alright on the drive up. Thats if anyone would like some fish :-))
