I’ve made a tuna sauce for pasta from the Italian AWW book plus another batch of pumpkin soup because Jap pumpkin was only $1 a kilo today.

I didn’t like the tuna sauce so that went in the bin and today I’ve made cottage pies with just 250g mince and lots of veggies. Will keep one out for tonight’s dinner then reheat in the a/f to brown the topping. Hopefully this batch won’t end up in the bin too! I am enjoying the cooking, just not the ability to enjoy some things.

I made a fruit loaf from Cookidoo today. It only has 340g of flour so was quite small. The flavour is nice.
I also did a Classic loaf.

Picked the Medlars yesterday.  They need to sit for a week or so to soften. I’ll make some fruit vinegar and add raspberries and make jam.
SD crumpets to give away.

I made a Anzac loaf today. DD said it doesn’t have a lot of taste so it will be Anzac biscuits in future.

I found a very interesting recipe for waffles using a batter made with rolled oat and cashew nuts.  I made Pizzelle wafers.  Very nice.   Will post recipe on my blog.

No cooking here today, I have been looking at a couple of You tube things for bread type snacks. I am very tempted.

Yesterday I made 1 large Rhubarb & Apple pie and 4 smaller ones.  The large one is for DIL, the others for the freezer.

Today  Salmon patties and a vegetable casserole and maybe some soup this afternoon.
