Cookie, that is very upsetting.  I think I would have said a few very rude words. Good on DH.
Mab, what a nuisance.
While we were away, our neighbour who checks the Chooks, ( always brings his screwdriver with him,)  put a new handle on the Chook house door.  Greatly appreciated.
Great excitement today.  Police chasing a shirtless man around Ballarat with helicopter hovering overhead.

Nice to have a neighbour like that Chookie.  A bit of excitement for Ballarat, I hope they caught him.

We have been very lucky with our neighbours.
Cold again with max of 11.
GD came to do some cleaning.  Each time she comes we also do some cooking.  We made Spring rolls this time.

A lovely warm summers day here today. Walked Chance this morning and this afternoon. Poor boy is getting deaf but that sometimes happen in some older dogs. He throughly enjoys his daily walks. As usual the squirrels were being chased non stop by him today.

Yesterday it rained lightly all day.  At the moment, 8 am it is 4 degrees.  I have been cleaning out the pantry and it was amazing what I have found.  Lots of small tins of tuna.  I don’t particularly like tinned tuna. Wonder how and why they got there.
The last SD loaf took 30 hours before it was ready for the oven.  It was fine in texture with a lovely flavour. Will start another today.

It’s sort of raining here today. I think it is more mizzle. I love that word.

Interesting about the tuna Chookie.

Good morning everyone from a warm & humid Singapore!  We leave here tomorrow night and hope it’s not going to be a shock returning to a cold Adelaide after two weeks in the warmth.

I love Singapore Trudy.

It is pouring here today. A bit of thunder thrown in for good measure.
