It looks cold Denise. Judy take care shifting furniture around, you are a little over 21. 😄😄

I'm glad Ral is having everything checked out, Chookie. The nurses will be looking out for you to arrive. Do you have far to go?

We had about 10cm of snowfall last night. It started to melt today and now it’s freezing so it will be icy in the morning,

Keeping cool just thinking of CC’s snow.  Lovely.

38 here today.  Went to hospital early.
Ral had a bone marrow sample taken.  They gave him laughing gas.  He was so happy.
DS and GD visited yesterday.  DS came home and helped me water.  Looks like 40+ here tomorrow.

Thinking of Ral.

I see where it is 46 in Adelaide today. How ghastly.
Chookie take care in the heat. Do you have reticulation for most of your watering?

Cookie, most of the garden that we water has a drip system.    What the kids call our Mediterranean court yard is hand watered.  Takes just 20 minutes.  We also need to water some trees that are new.  I got up at 6 to water this morning and it is still 32 degrees and I have just watered.

Phew, what a day we had in Adelaide today. An 80 year old record broken with a temperature of 46.6 degrees. To make matters worse there were heaps of power outages in the western suburbs where I live and where Mum is. Mine was off for  4.5 hours and Katie rang me to let me know there was a generator fire at the nursing home. Thankfully it was put out and residents were not evacuated.
Say hello to Ral Chookie, I hope they find the answers to his problem.
Den, I would gladly swap your snow for our heat, it’s been so hot and with February supposed to be our hottest month it makes me wonder how much hotter can it get!

Judy, that heat is awful.  Not looking forward to today.  Forecast of 41 here.

OMG 46.6!!!!!! My goodness Judy that is hot hot hot 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵
Give Ral a hug from me Chookie.
The snow is still hanging around. It’s very icy underfoot too. Hopefully tomorrow the temperature will rise and melt the snow and ice.

I was amused to hear on the radio at 9 this morning that, in the Farenheit system, it was 115 degrees ... not sure if that made me feel better or worse!

Got most of the lights turned off at work to try to do our bit to help the electricity supply.  It doesn't seem like much but, as they say, every little helps.  3.00 pm'ish is meant to be the worst time for us as regards the possibility of black outs or fluctuations, currently 42.

As hard as it is, you will survive the day Melbourne - a little better if you have power.  Today here was a beautiful day with a nice breeze, such wonderful relief.

The cool change was bliss.
Ral still in hospital.  As he has a private room, I am able to go in at any time.
