Kimmy - make peace with imperfection.
Disappointing, when you have put all the work in. I would have been so annoyed and was for so many years my children were young.
I wish I hadn't spent so many hours/days stressing over my walls. My children (26 and 24) have never bought up the paint work in a conversation yet.

Just catching up.. janJen,  glad you like your Roomba.  We love ours. I give it a full service once a week.  Takes 10 minutes.
Julie,  lovely dresses.
Painting girls,  go for it , I really admire your energy.
Bought this with a Christmas book voucher.  Love it and would recommend that anyone interested in cooking, order it from library or get a friend to buy it, borrow it and forget to give it back.  Normally I would buy a book if it has 3 or more recipes that I would like to cook.  This one,  I am going to start at the beginning and work my way through it.
This is the second book, put together by  six Jewish woman from Sydney.  Nearly every recipe has a photo.  Very well written recipes although some have a lot of ingredients.  Most already in pantry.   Also many can be part made in TMX.

Yes CP - he is a Labrador with a doodle  :o :o (sorry couldn't resist that one!)
He is a boy and he is a Labrador. At 4 weeks old he is very very cute, but staying with his beautiful Mummy for another 4 weeks. So glad he is just around the corner, so I can pop in and see him often!

And I did a bit of shopping today...bought myself another Thermomix  ;D. Been thinking about it for a while, so caught up with a friend for coffee today and ordered one.  ;D

Another Thermie, how exciting for you Nikkit!

After a particularly bad few days at work, I've taken Chookie's advice and bought myself a present - the Monday Morning Cooking Club book she suggested.

I "googled" them and found they have an excellent website and blog as well.  And they give all their profits to charity - how lovely.   Thanks Chookie for the tip!

A great buy Nikkit.
Chookie I have never opened that book to look inside. I must do so as I still have a birthday voucher waiting to be spent.
