I stood out the front of a House kitchen store with up to 70% off signs everywhere and I didn't even go in. It took great self control.  :D
Wow! Don't think I could have done it!
I have a Facebook page with all things cooking, you'll find it here: https://www.facebook.com/What-Amber-Ate-1097437023601587/

That's a lot of will power, I wouldn't have been able to resist. :D
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

DD,  that is very strong will power, congrats.
I know there has been some interest in Slow Cookers and with the cold weather, ( 4 here this morning) , I saw this book in the Newsagents today and couldn't resist.  It was $18 and the recipes are for a mix of one pot dishes,  with about 1/2 for slow cookers.  Yummy photos.  Tithe prep for many of the recipes could be done in the TMX.

A lovely warm looking dish on the front too.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Lots of very good recipes,  mostly with ingredients you have.  The sweets part is the most limited.  Soups,  chicken,  fish,  meat,  vegetarian/ sides plenty.

Putting this on the wishlist for  when the hens decide to start laying again . . . They're looking into Australian outlets, but may treat myself to ordering one a little later . . .
