Nice DJ  8)

I just bought this

Folds up flat, so should create a bit more space when baking.

Where did you get it from Maddy?
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Maddy, I think that you should set up a blog for cooking and shopping!  I am sure you will have quite a few of us following you on your intrepid adventures!!!

Oh Maddy, I just showed DH the cake rack, hoping he maybe able to make something similar. I could certainly do with something like that.

Not happy Jan....I took my less than 2 yr old Circulon elite pan back to DJ with its Lifetime warranty as it was no longer non stick.  It has only ever been used on Induction, has never been in the dishwasher or had abrasive pads used on it.However the lady said she will send back to Mayer but they usually say the pans have been used on high heat!!!! it will also take them about 12 weeks to tell me this   This is ridiculous it is like selling a pair of trainers and saying you can only walk in them and not run!!  There is an ad on TV about these pans and the main tag line is their lifetime warranty, maybe they should put the disclaimer on the bottom of the ad which says "only valid if not used on high heat".  I am wondering if it is better to buy a $100 pan rather than a $300 pan then just replace it!  I have bought another one, this time I am trying the Jamie Oliver new range which is suitable for Induction.

On a happier note, I did go to Ikea and get one of those comfy ergonomic neck support pillows as I have been getting sore necks in the mornings:)

GHM, I have returned pans to scanpain and circulon. Scanpan were very professional. Circulon less so until I pointed out that the instruction booklet did not tell me certain things. Then they came around. Good luck.

Hi Courton, It does say in the paperwork you must not use high heat!! but it is a pan and surely one could argue that they are selling a product that is not fit for its intended purpose!  I will post here how I get on in about 12 weeks when I get an answer.  By the time they pay for postage/courier from Perth to Victoria as there is no rep here, they could have replaced if for what it probably cost them  Te fact that the woman in DJ seemed confident that the answer would be no I am not holding my breath!
