With my DH learning how to use the iPad he is always on Gumtree. Then I have to listen to the bargains on there. Kind of like the movie The Castle. He'll be after jousting sticks next.   Apologies to those that didn't see the movie, it is an Aussie classic.

Can't believe Horace is now using the iPad for shopping. Have you got the Gumtree app cookie?

Jousting sticks?  tell  'em he's dreamin'!

Very funny Cookie.

Yes Gert, the Grinch is using the ipad. Yes we have the Gumtree app. Hope all other Grinches in the world are having a good day.

We braved the crowds this morning for Boxing Day specials. The crowd was unbelievable. We wanted to pick up Mac Air as belated Xmas present for DD - took us 15 mins to up 5 floors in MYer. Pleased as punch with purchases though... 7 items of clothing from SEED for $197 etc

Twice a year JB Hi Fi discount Apple by 10%.  Seems to me that Meyer  occasionally discount certain  Macs when a new model is about to be released.  Don't see a discount very often.

Apple does not discount but Mac was discounted at Myer, JB HI FI and Dick Smith. What we did not know and missed out by a few minutes was that Myer discounted a limited number to $895 (RRP $1099). We got it for $995 and Apple care negotiated down to $250 from $299. JB hi FI and dick Smith had already sold out of stick.

SEED is having a fantastic sale where the items which are discounted are eligible for an additional 40  per cent off.

Just spent birthday and Christmas money on some clothes as am wearing some out. Trousers, jumper, and long sleeved shirts to wear at work and at home.
Unfortunately not in the sale in my size.
Typical.
