Oohh CC - a box is a much nicer idea. How did our children ever survive?

I remember when my little GS was staying with me (quite a few years back) and he lost a tooth, he left it in the bathroom on the bench so the tooth fairy took it and left him $2,   in the morning he was looking for the tooth, I had to tell him it was collected my the toothfairy, he was not impressed he WANTED the tooth back to take home to show his Mum.

I ordered one of these today for my iPad.  Will especially be good when we go away and I use my iPad instead of my laptop, will be able to type properly.  It forms into a case so will be good protection too.  I've bought a couple of the Wallee products and found them very good quality so didn't hesitate buying this. Reasonable price too.  :D

That looks great JulieO. It's a pain trying to use the iPad keyboard sometimes. I'm always clicking delete instead of 'm'.

I've been pretty good lately, though have had to buy a few things for our Albany house. A Stanley Rogers knife block, Tupperware - the pantry pack, really nice sheets. That's about it as the previous owner left loads of stuff.

I'm not even THINKING about Xmas right now! I hate that time of year as it's harvest time and really, really stressful. Late nights, early mornings, rain at the wrong time, breakdowns, the list goes on. I love January.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

We had 3 eggs infertile, 1 chick wasn't formed properly, and one very small one has died, but the rest are going strong  :)
We now have some miniature ducks cooking up now.

Poor chickens/ducks - they start their lives in a cooker and end in the same way  ;D  So cute, are they that colour due to their breed?  I always associate new chicks with being mainly yellow.

Christmas in your house would be something to see maddy - a different theme every year, wherever do you find room to store last year's decorations?

After getting the special tooth fairy box, DS's tooth came out sometime yesterday, never to be seen again - probably swallowed.  Nothing to put into the box for the tooth fairy to come and get   :(

Never mind, the fairies were generous and still left a coin overnight  :-X

Oh no, poor kid - what a disappointment.  There's one way of finding it but I wouldn't like to have to go down that path  ;)

Im not going down that path either Judy!  Mind you, if he thought there might be another coin in it for him, DS might well go hunting for it  :o :o
