You win Jakodai! Best purchase ever I reckon.  ;) (akin to a dishwasher!  ;D)

Got the dishwasher, hubby must be determined not to do dishes, or listen to the kids and me moan as he rang me thismorning at 8.30am and said "pick a dishwasher out, find out where it is and I'll bring one home". He was coming down the drive by 12.15!

So I have a new Dishlex fitted.  :D  :D

Dede - You are amazing! I could not, will not, would go without something else so I could have a dishwasher!

Yes it's not fun, and to make it worse I was on crutches for most of the time I was without mine.
The good thing though was that my cupboard and draw was always full of clean dishes and cutlery as I couldn't stand having it sitting on the sink for too long. I washed up 3 or more times a day though :(

Obbie I have just bought the small one as it is such a BARGAIN. I recently bought a similiar one for DH but I really wanted a Paklite as I know how hard wearing the are. $49 I am a happy happy girl.

Also had another win today. I found in the Lifeline Shop a pair of pants EXACTLY the same as a pair I recently paid $79 for in Myer and they are Brand New, different colour and only $5. Two wins in one day.

Yahoo. Also bought some other stuff at Lifeline. My second favourite shop to my Wonderful Salvation Army Shop.
I love Bargains!

The best thing about this area is the Op Shops.  There are heaps of them and really good stuff.
Last week I got a pair of brand new Just Jeans, Fit perfectly for 50c.
I get all the clothes for DGS there as he is pretty rough on his stuff and no way we can afford new.
My best find was a painting I bought for $10.00 that we have had verified as a genuine original and valued at $14,000.00.

LOL.  My DH watched me struggle   :P with the painting down to where he was waiting in the car.
He was dubious but when I got the certification he was very happy.
And then he found another smaller painting by the same artist a few weeks later.
We haven't had that one valued yet.
Put them away as our retirement fund.
We bought most of our furniture when we moved from op shops.  A gorgeous antique Welsh Dresser for $100.00.
better than the new compressed sawdust ones.

Great buying girls.  Gretchen it looks like the plastic bag wasn't going to be big enough for all the things you will need for the retreat ;)

Didn't need it but a good size for travelling light and yes I will be taking that instead of a plastic  bag as it has already been dispatched. I so love Peters

And I didn't pay for it. :)
But I have to return it when I'm finished reading it (might take me a while :D )
