No respite from our 35 & 41 degree days which are expected over the next week. Feel for all those having to feed their families in this heat.

Don’t like this heat.  Tomorrow, Christmas Day will be a little cooler.

Try to keep cool in the heat girls.
It’s been a dry day here but still very muddy underfoot walking Chance.

Merry Christmas everyone, try not to overeat, have a drink or two and enjoy your day.  It will all be over in a flash and we will move into the New Year and await the next one. Love being part of this community.

Wishing all my lovely forum friends a very merry Christmas. Eat, drink and be merry and tomorrow you will have leftovers to eat.

Merry Christmas Judy, Cookie and all on here, especially from the days I used to post here often.

Hope everyone has had a great day with their loved ones.

Been a busy house here;  Grandson (turns 8 in 3 weeks) staying with us for approx 4 weeks during the holidays.  His dad is out at sea on a fishing ship and his mum (our daughter) comes up when it’s her days off.  She came up last night after work to spend Christmas Eve and Day with us but has to leave in about an hour to return home as she has work tomorrow morning.

We had a lovely roast lunch finished off with Tenina’s Berry Pavlova (2 layer) which turned out absolutely perfect.  Best pav I’ve ever made!

So nice to clean up and sit and relax for the rest of the day.  Going to be hot here for a few days but thankfully we have good air conditioning ☺

All the best for the New Year everyone!

Hi Julie, so lovely of you to pop in and say hello.  I can’t believe your grandson is 8 already, my gosh that time has flown by.  Have fun with GS over the next few weeks.  All the best to you and your family.

Hi Julie.  Nice to hear from you.  Still remember your wonderful photos.
Cool overnight, warm to hot today.  DS and family stayed overnight.  Helped set up electrical devices for incompetent parents.

Good morning everyone, how are you all feeling after all that food you ate yesterday?  I can’t believe how much I ate yet I didn’t feel uncomfortable at any stage.  I had a great day as I’m sure you all did too.
