Introduce Yourself / Re: LittleRamblings & T-mo

Just a little fun courton  ;) ;)

Loving the Cheese & Bacon rolls, the kids were VERY impressed, and yes I am going to love the savings that will bring!

Cookie1, my partner isn't a cook...actually doesn't like cooking at all. But she is hoping T-mo may change that  ;) She has successfully cooked the custard twice now, and looks forward to trying a few more things out.

I agree dede that the rolls are better than store bought, and I know they will be a staple around here!

Thanks everyone! I feel welcome already  :-*

The rolls turned out pretty well I think. I don't need to eat gluten free, but tried one anyway and they taste good to me! My partner will have to give me her verdict when home from work.

Have some dough for cheese & bacon rolls on the go now, and then on to beetroot salad & pumpkin soup. Oh and just made a banana smoothie in between it all for DS19.

:D :D

Thanks goldfish, that one looks very close! If it isn't exactly the same that is fine too, pretty sure the taste wouldn't be too far off. Will have to set about trying it. Thank you again :D

Recipe Requests / Sweet Potato & Cashew Dip

I am wondering if anyone has or has seen a recipe for Sweet Potato & Cashew Dip, this is one of our most use dips as it is gluten free & my partner loves it. Would be great if I could make my own....she already thinks I am clever but this would make her think I am a magician for sure lol  :D

Thanks in advance

Introduce Yourself / LittleRamblings & T-mo
« on: March 01, 2012, 02:04:39 am »
Hi Everyone,

I am new here, and new to Thermomix, I got my T-mo (short for Theodore Thermomix, don't ask why! lol) on Tuesday morning and have been having a ball since!! Mainly sticking to some basics for now, but am going to give gluten free bread rolls a go tonight, so I guess that is pretty adventurous.  :)

I am around on a few other sites, and have kept my name the same so people know who I am. I do blog, but haven't blogged about T-mo as yet.

I am from the Central Coast of NSW and mum to 3 lovely kids DS19, DD7 & DD6, have a wonderful partner, a couple of dogs & a cat...sounds like a personal add...lol

Look forward to reading and taking part in the forum, who knows, one day I might even get good enough to be able to share some recipes!

Cheers
LR

Hi there, I am very new to Thermomix, I have only had T-mo for 3 days, but I am in love!!   :) :)

I am just wondering if the macadamia oil in these could be substituted with coconut oil? Thanks in advance.
