Amy I think that's what this instructor was - annoying. Spent her time on the phone, or reading a mag, Miss 16 was a bit miffed at that.
Anyway...what is done is done. It was only 2 hours of her day, (and my $$) but she has still learned important things to do with driving. We have decided once she does get her P's then she'll be doing a defensive driving course as well. I think the more she learns the better.

MF there are plenty around, we'll find one. It would be hard to be put into a small car with someone you have never met or seen before and take fairly intense instructions from them about something you don't know a lot about.

Miss 16 is still smiling, so I am happy  :)

JD, oh no - doesn't that just take the shine off your once a year nana nap?!
I avoid nana naps as I tend to wake up really cranky and have a tendency to snarl at the first person who looks or talks to me. And I do not snore - but gee my mouth gets awful dry and crusty!  :-))

Glad all is well with your daughter Nikkit. It is another thing for Mum's to worry about. It took me about 2 years before I didn't worry and even now I still wonder sometimes.

I have spent my day with the most infurating, annoying, stupid, thick numbskulls I have ever met.  MIL invoices for the nursing home are not correct and they just don't see it. They have done silly things like when they bring an amount forward onto another page they don't copy it correctly. They say she has had her hair done twice on the same day, they can't add up etc. They have even charged extra days for the month.
I have been trying to get through to the HO but they are all in a meeting. (for the last 4 hours) I think they may be dodging me.
They have all the excuses under the sun-we are trialling a new system, the girl that did it is on holidays. Sadly they can't add up or subtract.
Rant over. I'll save the rest until I can get them on the phone.

Cookie, sounds like a frustrating time for you, hope you can get it sorted out soon.

Hally, do hope they can make your MIL comfortable, thoughts are with you and your family  :)

Nikkit, it is a very stressful time when they are learning to drive, hopefully the new instructor will be better.

Great rant cookie, all the best but sounds like you are in for the run around.

Thinking of you Hally.

Nikkit, glad all is better. Glad I don't have that hassle for at least ten years.

Have had a lovely day with a play date up at school. Bit the bullet and tried woollies online for groceries this week. Gave them a three hour delivery window  and they were still two hours late. No call and no apology. And I had to ring them to find out what was going on.  Driver said they need two trucks but ot have one. That's not my problem. Who wants to put groceries away at 8pm!

You'd think they would use an accounting software package Cookie that would add it up for them.  Sounds very frustrating for you.  Hope you can sort it out quickly.

Oh no Judy.  Everyone needs a nanna nap now and again.  And it's not like you can even get mad with your DH and tell him off.

Hally big hug and love to you all.

Great news CC what colour is it?

You will feel much safer in winter road conditions in a new car.

It's so exciting for you having a brand new car. I love the new smell  :D
