Title: Help Please
Post by: Twitterpated on July 20, 2011, 10:01:57 am
Can anyone remind me what the formula is when increasing/doubling recipes. I seem to remember something about increasing the cooking time by ???% or something like that. I've searched the forum as I know it was discussed at some time but can't for the life of me find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, it is on page 2 of my EDC. When doubling a recipe they recommend you add another 20% to the processing or cooking time. To halve a recipe you cut processing or cooking time by 20%.

Thanks JD. I tend to get all my info from the forum these days and rarely look at the EDC due to all the tweaks, etc on the forum. That'll teach me.  :D
