Title: TM6
Post by: trudy on May 25, 2019, 08:56:54 am
What do you all think about the TM6?  Is there anyone on here that has one as was told last night it’s been out awhile in Europe!  Can’t wait to hear what you all think.

I don't think it's available here yet Trudy. I still have my 31 so doubt I will be getting one.

Oh gosh. How exciting. Are you getting one Trudy? I seem to get very little information from Thermomix Australia.

I am still happy Cookie with my TM31.  Never wanted to update to the 5 but I’m seriously thinking of getting there 6.  I have seen quite a few reviews and like the new features although a couple apparently need some software updates that should happen soon.  I was quite tempted with the special on the TM5 but Wayne felt that I should wait for the 6.  At the moment if you preorder they are giving you $100 off!!

If I didn’t have the 5 I would definitely get a 6.  It seems to incorporate all the Cookidoo stuff within the machine. I agree with Wayne in waiting for the 6.  You will have to tell us what it’s like.

I’d be happy to sell my Hot Mix pro. It has never been what I had hoped. It’s very good but not such a smooth machine as the thermomix. I have it in a cupboard. I have offered it to a friend’s daughter but she is in a flat and doesn’t have the room at the moment.

I havn'e seen the TM6 yet, consultant has seen it once, but I have ordered it, to save $100.

I do like thermies, as this would be my third, after 10 years. ( goes so fast).  Still keeping my TM5.
That is why there is so many books and cook keys so cheap now, as you won't need them with a TM6.

Cookie, you should sell your HMP on ebay, mine sold in 2 days.
 :D

Thanks Robyn. I might try Gumtree first. DH wants me to keep it, I’m not too sure why.

I can't wait to hear all about it. Are you going to make honeycomb first? Most people I read about seem to.

Hi Cookie,  no havent made any honeycomb!!  I have made a couple of lots of bread & rolls and also a lemon meringue pie.

Also made the Paprika Chicken in Sour cream from Cookidoo which was nice.  Taking it slowly!!

It’s quite easy to use and interesting as it recognises you have the 6 and saute’s onions ect when it needs to.

Robyn, to help others who have access to Cookiedoo you can review the things you make on it here.
