I made 3 banana cakes last night, and 11 dozen scones, all for today at pony club. :)
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

That's a lot of scones Robyn.  I've made a fruit & nut slice and a brownie slab to freeze and ice later just before our Probus meeting mid-month.

I seem to have lost my mojo for everything lately, but I did manage to do some cooking today. I made butter and peanut butter to restock the larder. Then I made White chocolate, macadamia and cranberry biscuits and for tea I made some Macaroni Cheese that has pureed pumpkin sweet potato carrot and Zucchini in it.

one of the main reasons I bought a TMX was for the steaming capability of the aroma. Well I wanted to make a Vietnamese mung bean sweet rice and coconut - it's a sweet treat that sells for about $3 for a very small tray and I love it. Anyway, I washed and soaked overnight the sweet rice and mung beans and have spent the better part of an afternoon laborious steaming the mung beans, incorporating into the rice and then steaming the beans and rice together in batches etc...only for it to be a total failure. Mine had no taste/flavour. The ready made must have a lot of sugar in it. So disappointed.

That would have been disappointing after all that effort MAB. I wonder if any of our members could help you out with a successful recipe.

Well done Den, hopefully your cooking mojo will return fully now

What a disappointment MEP. Is there any one you can check with for advice?

DD it is horrid when the cooking Mojo disappears as it is a real struggle to just cook meals. Hopefully spring and the sunny weather will motivate you.

Very disappointing for you MEP. Do you think the ones you can buy have flavour enhancers added to the ingredients?

I made some of Tenina's Strawberry Jam this morning. This afternoon was Chookie's delicious Brioche buns to use for burgers. I also made an Apple Bread and Butter custard with a crumble topping. I was a little disappointed in that.

Cookie, glad you liked the Broiche buns.
Roast lunch with all the trimmings for Fathers Day lunch, and then popped the leftover lamb in TMX with the gravy and made filling for pies in Pie maker. Also had some leftover roast chicken and added it to the left over Awesome Cheese sauce with corn and Asparagus and used this as pie filling. Then also made pies from Apple sauce, for GD lunches.
