Thanks, Gert.  That looks like an excellent solution (excuse the pun!!).

Bedlam what truly wonderful news for you. I'm thrilled.  Your little boy will have a wonderful, caring childhood. He is so gorgeous.

Gert I like the sunshine on my washing! I have a drier and I haven't used it for over 36 years. It probably doesn't work anymore. I used to enjoy putting out the washing on my rotary clothes hoist, but in this house we have a parallel clothes line thing, no where near the fun. When it is wet I put th clothes under the patio to dry.

Nope. Not convinced. Couldn’t give a stuff about fresh air. Life is too short to be precious about washing or any household chore. Get in.  Get it done and then do what really matters in this life. Cooking with love, reading for pleasure, socialising with friends or just soaking in the bath with a glass of.

You are right about the life being so short Gert. I've just squished hanging out the washing into it too. Take care.xx

The clocks went back last night. Poor Chance thought he had been forgotten walking an hour later than normal. It was really cold walking. I had my winter coat and woolly hat on to keep me warm. Now sitting by a roaring log fire.

I found this amazing recipe from Holly Bell for Halloween. It looks so good LOL

Morning all.  Looking forward to another warm day.
Big freezer making a funny noise.  Repair lady coming to look at it.
CC, love the look of that cake.

Good morning everyone.
Brilliant cake Denise, are you going to make it?
Good luck with the freezer diagnosis Chookie, I remember that - it’s huge and I’m sure you would be lost without it.

No Judy, I just thought a great idea for Halloween.

It was a heavy frost when I walked Chance this morning.

Gert, I’m with you. From the wash to the dryer. We have solar panels so my thoughts are if I do it when the sun shines it doesn’t cost me anything.
CC, that cake looks awfu, awfully good and reading the instructions not too difficult.  We are going on a cruise from Norway, chasing the northern lights on the 27 nov.  I’m getting frightened about the cold and searching for warm gear at the moment.

That sounds fantastic Denise. I have seen the southern lights but I doubt if I will ever see the northern lights. I guess lots of layers will be needed.
although it will be warm inside.

Hi everyone, late on here today.
Love the sound of your cruise Denise, good luck with finding those warm outfits at this time of the year.
