Have been waiting for some reviews of recipes from this book, are you girls going to put them on this thread or in the recipe review section?  From the above posts, only Jeninwa & Jo are the only ones to have made something from the book so far.

Hi JD.  I have had the Steamed Beef twice - once at cooking class and once at a meeting - and also Steamed Puddings, but both times other people cooked.  I enjoyed the food but I didn't have the experience of interpreting the recipes.

Does anyone know if it's available in Canada?  I can get it through ebay I saw but it is about $75.00 canadian dollars and there is no info on the shipping.  I have checked on the Canadian Distributor website and it is not listed there : (  I would LOVE a copy.

I dont think so Woerd but it is not yet available internationally..Im sure Dani will get back to you or someone in the know but otherwise you could also attempt to get an answer via inthemix@thermomix.com.au

it will be available (as dani mentions above) in december from Thermomix UK .  Dont think the book is available anywhere but via Thermomix???? anybody else know ??

maybe check out the different in postage costs from the UK and OZ and see which is cheaper for you..

 :)

There was this review in the Age newspaper too: http://www.theage.com.au/entertainment/restaurants-and-bars/thermobsessed-you-bet-20111001-1l24v.html

It has a few recipes from the book - my mum made the carrot falafals and LOVED them!! (My kids loved them too!)

Me too Denise as it will be nice to have a grand TMX book until Tenina's arrives of course.

jo did you make them with dried chickpeas? I think I remember a few people saying they fell apart but thought it may have been the canned chickpeas

I madethe crumpets the other day - really yummy!! It also gave me some hints to get the crumpets cooked perfectly.
I plan on making the quinoa breakfast puddings tonight for tomorrow.  I love the book - it is beautiful & really great for those special ocasion TM meals.

This book refers a lot to using a siphon, does anyone know it is?
