It's been a day of mixed emotions here.  Last night DH and I made the heartbreaking decision to have our beloved dog max put to sleep after 11 years together.  Sadly it could not be done until this morning, the same day as our sons 6th birthday. Trying to celebrate, trying to mourn and trying to explain to the boys that we just couldn't fix him.  Got my big girl panties on, but don't really feel like mother of the year material today.

A sad day indeed Kimmy but it often comes to this and no-one finds it easy.  11 wonderful years for Max with a loving family and some wonderful memories for you all.

Sorry to hear that Kimmy.
Funny dreamt about my first dog this week. Got him when I was 16. Long time ago.

Good about the dress Nikkit.  ;D

Felt a bit better today, my throat no longer feels as if it is painfully closing, although it was very bad at 1 am.
At 6 am it had turned the corner. Hooray.
Had a walk, much better than yesterday's attempt.  Been doing lots of possible future planning phone calls and about to clean upstairs. DH home tonight.  ;D

Oh Kimmyh, hugs to you and your family on your very hard and sad decision about Max. Not an easy one to make and some days those big girl panties just ain't worth the material they're made from.
