Read this, from USA. Is Thermomix big in USA?

No, is the short answer.
I was told that it is due to the 110 Volt issue - my understanding is that the manufacturers have not looked at producing a machine for the US market. But it exists in Canada - so there must be more to the story.

They can put a man on the moon but can't work out the 110 volt issue - surely someone has the answers to this problem. What a huge market they are missing out on.

Not sure what the issue is, Judy. We have the same voltage as in the US here in Canada, and our TMX reps sell to the US market...

Agreed. My unit is nothing special from US standards. No voltage conversion or adapters. Just plug it in :)
