Roast lamb last night.

Tonight will be fresh caught gummy shark done on the bbq, with mint potatoes, broad beans and carrot & corn casserole.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Wonder - Jamie said you should cook the whole roast as it has more taste it was on one of his recent shows I think saving with Jamie he said the smaller roasts don't have the same flavour.

This is interesting Yvette, I find smaller freshly cooked roasts have more flavor than leftovers...but I hate leftovers so it could be just me.  ;)

Sounds yummy Maddy, and looks good too.

Tonight we had green curry chicken and non fried rice, the curry was a wee bit hot but really tasty and even the kids ate it :D

Tonight we had herb crusted salmon

Hopefully pizzas from our tandor oven. They take 5-7 mins. I am using their dough recipe too & the size are 9" pizzas. My pizza stones are much bigger so I must not roll the dough out so big ;D

Good luck Hally. We found it did take a little bit of practice to get the timing right but you'll figure it out pretty quickly. I would maybe make an extra batch of dough or make a few small ones with no topping to check the heat and time. We've also tested quite a few different base recipes so will be interested to hear what you think of their recipe.

Maddy and ES those meals look great.

We still have leftover spit roasted meat from DD's 18th birthday which we packaged into meal size portions and vacuum sealed and have been using for a quick roast on a Sunday and the meat tastes fantastic, we only have one portion left and we are all a little dissapointed to see the end of it. Not sure if it's the slightly smokey flavour or that it was part of such a large piece of great meat.

Leftover cashew chicken I just can't face cooking dinner on work nights. It's getting worse!

I'm the same INAID... two weeks ago I did a big cook up and froze portions for the days I'm at work (working more days for a couple of months)...it is so handy! I just heat some veggies or make a salad while dinner is reheating/defrosting. Quicker than ordering take away :)

Meatballs from here on the forum (the conversion from Nigella) freeze really well and that's what we had tonight with spaghetti. I also added some zucchini ribbons to the spaghetti to up our veg intake :)
I have a Facebook page with all things cooking, you'll find it here: https://www.facebook.com/What-Amber-Ate-1097437023601587/

Oh I don't order takeaway Jamberie I spend my Mondays cooking up a storm. It makes life so much easier doesn't it. The cashew chicken was from the Indian cookbook.
