Prepared vegetables for tomorrow Christmas Dinner.Cooked a ham.Took GS for a walk this morning.A bit of housework.Load of washing.Wrapped presents.Walked Chance this afternoon in the most atrocious weather that I can remember.The ground is absolutely saturated with water it's just like walking in a mud bath.More rain tomorrow :P

Was very scary Astarra as all sunday morning the midwife kept coming into the room checki g his temp and respirations. She took him away 3 or 4 times to the pediatrician and then said they wanted blood tests done.  Eventually told us he needed to go to special care unit. I freaked out but didn't want DD to see how worried I was. Was a horrible 36 hours but he was looking great last night when I left and nurse said he was doing great and temp and respirations good. The antibiotics must have helped but will be interesting to find out what the infection was. Hope you all have a great Christmas. The girls must be sooooo excited    ;D

Washed and washed, and ironed, tidied and cleaned as the rain continued to pour down!

Went to lovely Christingle service in village church this afternoon. Standing room only, we got seats, lots of carols and a very good nativity play. Perfect for Christmas mood.

Smoked salmon for supper and more carols when we got home.
All set for the day tomorrow, but just us two and very quiet.

All mine have had low temps after birth, so alot of skin-on-skin cuddles needed (nice, but still a bit of a worry) Hugs to you and your DD  :-*  Hope you have a wonderful Christmas too....my girls will be excited when they wake but still zzzzz ATM, much to DH and my surprise!!  :o ;D Thanx for you Christmas wish!!  :-*

CC I think we need to balance our weather as you have too much rain and we are having 39 here today. Neither of them ideal :(
Glad you are well organized for Christmas. I have a wee bit more cooking to do this morning. Going to DS1's house to see the kids open their presents then want to stop in at the hospital to give Jackson a cuddle  :)
Everyone coming from 2pm onwards so plenty of time to get the indoor/ outdoor area set up.
Hope Amanda can get here at some point in the afternoon.  :)

Kids got up at 6.40, this was the scene at around 6.55



This was my absolute favourite present, not too happy about the expiry date though (from the 7yo)



Spent the day at the in-laws, came home and did some packing, kids now in bed so i'm relaxing with a glass of (love that expression).

I got up at 5:20, spent 4 hours preparing for guests, they were here for 2 hours and really enjoyed themselves so that was great. Nana and grandpa made it down but grandpa was a bit wobbly. He's still got his sense of humour though ;D
Just played scrabble with mum and beat her again! :D

My kids woke up at 5.30am yesterday, I was awake at 3am, dozing on and off.
Late night last night, away with family...

tonight early to bed for all of us...

Just got out of the spa... :)

Went for a swim, cleaned Clinker's cage, went on a picnic, and just watched the Dr Who Christmas Special!!! :D :D :D
