I subscribe to quite a few RSS feeds from various blogs.  I also have  StumbleUpon (http://lifehacker.com/355375/get-the-stumbleupon-toolbar-in-any-browser-no-installation-required)  which is a unique search engine that allows one to specify the subject for various web sites to have pop up.

When I select  "Food/Cooking"  and click on the toolbar "Stumble!"  a page will open with a random web page in that category.
I have "discovered" numerous great food sites that otherwise I would never have found.

I've just popped these into the oven for afternoon tea for a friend coming to sit with DH tonight.  Back later to report on how my method worked - no method really, I just threw everything into the bowl and kneaded for 1 minute  ;D Next time I will try the creaming method.

They are lovely, the icing is pretty special.  No instructions for that on the link so I just threw everything in and beat it for 1 minute/speed 8.  I then refrigerated it for 45 minutes before piping - probably could have had longer but I was running out of time to get things done.  Plenty of icing so I've frozen the piping bag with the contents for another time.

I forwarded the recipe to a friend and last night she made one batch as is.

She then had a brainstorm and tossed in some dark cocoa and instead of the Bailey's, used a "generous" tablespoon of Creme de Menthe.

She wrote that it is like biting into a peppermint patty.

I just came across this site for the cupcake fanciers among us.  The Berry (http://theberry.com/2011/06/17/cupcakes-that-are-too-pretty-to-eat-jklol-i-would-totally-eat-them-37-photos/)

The decorations are very clever and I thought it would be a good source for ideas.

and here's another. (http://sweetapolita.com/)
