DD holidays can be like that. Enjoy the holiday back at work.

Clarkson, May and Hammond Live was really good. I had tears of laughter streaming down my face the entire time. I haven't laughed so long for a while. The entire show was excellent and ever so funny. We enjoyed the bubbles and nibbles with the 3 do them and heaps of others early on. DD managed to get a selfie of her and James May.

Studying basic nursing modules to complement my aged care course. 7 down, 52 to go haha. Finished today with ADHD as I figured the experience with J would make it easy. :)

A beautiful day in Melbourne today, a little chilly still, but bright blue sky and sunny!
DH and I just got back from an hours walk. Just having some coffee with toast & Nut paste. I think we are heading into the Victoria st Markets later.

Laundry day today.  Making the most of the sunshine.

I love the Vic Markets Katj. When do you return to the west?

Late on Tuesday 27th Cookie.
Markets were great, by the time we had lunch at Dumpling House and walked to Vic markets we didn't have a lot of time. Probably go back some time this coming weekend.
There is an outlet shop called Ginger Tree on Elizabeth St, about 500m down from markets. I bought a nice jumper and want to go back for a longer look. DH and DS anxious to get back to avoid the parking inspector.

I've been to the Ginger Tree in Richmond. I don't think it is there anymore. Good shopping Katj.

Glad you are having a good time Katj;  haven't been to Melbourne since I was 21.

Cookie why did they scan $10 off your checkout docket; is this a new promotion or are you just special. Glad you enjoyed the show.

I always try to get to the same check out lady. The other one at that time is a real pain. She simply pulled it out of her drawer and scanned the code. She didn't do it for me this week though as I had been to Coles and bought heaps of stuff. I'm lucky as the shopping centre is very, very small but has a Coles at one end and a Woolies at the other.

Shopping today for me; went to Woolies for my usual packet of Panela (rapadura) sugar and they now don't have the 500g packet I have been buying for so long; it is now half the size and almost double the price. Seems like when you find a good product at a good price they have to take it away.

That makes me cross troupie. Both Woolworths and Coles seem to be removing brands from their shelves.
