Thermomix in a magazine
« on: January 22, 2009, 03:49:51 am »
The word is getting out there
In this months Australian House and Garden George Colambaris from The Press Club in Melbourne, lists a TM in his top 10 kitchen items, mind you it came 3rd after Scanpan and a spatula, I think it should have come at least before the spatula!!

I notice in the back pages of the BBC Good Food there is always ads for Thermomixers.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

In the West Australian magazine supplement today there is a feature on the Loose Box restaurant, sitting proudly on a counter in the background is  A THERMOMIX!!

Baf 65, you beat me to it. I've just read the article and looked for a Thermomix and there one was. What better advertisement than to say it is used at The Loose Box restaurant.

Very true.  Tetsuya uses one and is very happy with it.  He is very friendly with Ferran Adria of El Bulli, but I think he only has one, unlike Ferran.  They use it for a number of dishes including his famous ocean trout.

Shannon Bennett from Vue de Monde has 2 - a TM 31 & a TM 21.  Raymond Capaldi who has been at different restaurants is doing a session at the Melb Food & Wine festival with Shannon including a little on the TMX.

The konbu on the ocean trout was prepared in the TMX.  This is apparently the most photographed dish in Australia.

We went to the Margaret River (in West Aust- a wine region) markets yesterday and spent some time speaking with 2 lovely ladies and a gentleman, one of who/m ?? is a TMX consultant.  It was great to see the TMX there.  Hi folks-I think you said you look at this forum.
