Will get to Tasmania one day. It looks so beautiful.

What a lovely thing to do for the old people :)  It would have made their day.

We have had a very dry few weeks here so I guess we need the rain but not so nice when you are on the beach with 2 bedraggled dogs, no jacket and a long walk home  >:(

That was so nice of you astarra, and she obviously appreciated it.
Nice quiet day today, pottered around the house then went to a GF's house for lunch. She's got the devil of a cookbook, so had a bit of a squiz - & she insisted on photocopying a couple of recipes for me.
Jakodai, your childbirth experience sounds like my first, actually worse. Emergency Caesars are no fun, especially after a long labour. Good idea to have a scheduled Caesar next time - I did!

Cookie that reminds me of when my son was 16 and working after school doing nightfill at Woolies.  He found $50 on the floor in one of the aisles and went and turned it in at the counter.  The next time he went in for his shift, the Manager thanked him for his honesty and said no-one had come in to claim it, so he gave it to my son.  I was so proud of him that day.  :D

astarra, I am certain they appreciated your thoughtfulness, I have not been to the cheese factory for some time.  I must call in again next time we are down that way.
Cookie, I am certain your gesture was appreciated.
Amy, take care of those knees and rest up.
Been a lovely day here, spent some time cleaning out the small freezer. I think there will be some weird combination meals here in the next few days.

What kind people we have on this forum.
Astarra I love ash grove cheese, I try and go there when I am in tassie and visiting up north, where is the silk place? Didn't know there was one. I also love the raspberry farm.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

The silk place is in Chudley... not sure how long it has been going for - just up the street from the honey farm. It was really interesting - silk worms at different stages of their life to watch as well as the shop...and the fudge - hevenly! (& that is coming from me who usually hates sweet things!  :)

We like the Ashgrove Wasabi cheese.

Well done cookie.

Baked malt loaf, and made tomato, celery, apple and tomato soup. And cooked supper tonight, fried fresh fish. Then DD realised she needed cake for tomorrow at work so we quickly made choc/coc chip muffins. They rather strangely spread sideways.. Maybe too runny. I'd and too full cases. We were rushing.

6 loads washing. Lots of cleaning. Under the furniture type cleaning to try to get on top of spiders. trying to make a bit more room in a cupboard under the stairs so I can start soap making.
Rode the pony, luckily before the rain.
Later Took our own beef heifer to the abattoir. Will go back to collect the meat all cut and packed for freezer in 4 weeks.

There are more good people in the world than bad, just the bad ones make bigger headlines.
