Go for it Amanda.
Thermomixer I bought a Panettone this morning (marked down) as I thought I would make the recipe from the Festive Book. I've made the marmalade so I've cheated with the Panettone. It sounds lovely. Will check your blog. 35253

I love Maggie B too. DD bought me 'Maggie's Harvest' for Christmas last year. I can't wait to get back to SA this August or so to go to her kitchen and hopefully the Barossa markets, and lots of other places.

Thanks MJ. I did make it and comment on it but obviously didn't do a review. We liked it too. I didn't add any butter to the base, it didn't seem too crumbly. I'll definitely be making it again, but this time I'll cut the grapes a little smaller.

Perhaps those of us that have 'found' some extra kilos need another TMX. Then we can run/walk round with one in each arm and do TMX lifting as the weights.

I used the EDC Brioche dough to make my custard and almond scrolls. I did leave it much longer to rise. I have never tasted Brioche but these seemed ok to me. (not knowing what a true Brioche should taste like)

Ditto all of the above. It is so hard not to eat. I love making cakes and cookies, I used to taste one and then send them off to DD work, but she has just changed her workplace. Hopefully they aren't all dieting and I can return to giving them cakes and cookies.

Very economical Judy. We're not turkey lovers here. We didn't even have it for Christmas. I cooked pork and a beef thing with pesto and proscuitto and of course the yummy ham.

Thanks for that. I looked and looked. I guessed it would be something simple.
