Although we sat for an hour waiting for our Brunch, it was very entertaining.  A disabled man came in and asked to use the toilet.  The lass managing things said ok. But he insisted  he needed to buy something to be able to use the toilet.  She said don’t worry, but he insisted.  He then spent a long time counting out small change for a can of drink.  We were so impressed with the compassion shown by this young person who was at the same time under pressure because of the slow service that we told her so. As we paid and left she insisted we have some complimentary Carrot Cake.  When we finally got our Brunch it was excellent and about 1/2 what we would normally pay.
Marina,  that is the shop.  It was probably open for about 4 years.  They catered for Ral’s 80th. We have had a meal there several times and always excellent.  Their salads were amazing.

Apart for the long wait, that sounds like a wonderful cafe, Chookie.  If you are happy to pass on the name (if you took note of it) I will certainly go there sometime.

No instruments damaged, fortunately but some other stock has been affected.   We found the cause and have taken care of it, but the whole place smells damp, as you can imagine.  Hopefully a string of fine, windy and hot days will help dry things out.
Sorry to hear about the flooding Marina. You could use a Dehumidifier to absorb the dampness.

Marina, the Cafe is  in Elizabeth Street.  I think it is called the Victoria.  It looks pretty basic but the food was good. Also not expensive. The Spanish Cafe, nearby is also good but the coffee awful.
It has remained cold. The garden says Spring but the weather says Winter.
We are having a friend from WA staying for the weekend. Will try and keep her warm.

Keep her with you Chookie. They are forecasting 40 here for Saturday.

Thanks  Cookie. That is very hot.  We are having a very cold snap. It rained last night and will rain most of today. Snow expected in the mountains.
The Chooks are all now using the Rollaway nests.  Good little girls.

Very windy here the past few days, I could hear the yacht masts ringing down at the marina for the first time in ages.

Just received an email advising that Thermomix has a 50% off sale on their TM31 model carry bags ... selling for $39.95 + P&P if anyone is interested.

That’s a good deal Marina. I have had mine for quite a while. It’s handy for the thermomix in the van.

Good afternoon everyone.  Another cold and wet day here.  I'm having computer problems today, spent all morning trying to fix it.
