That's a pity Katie. Enjoy the concert.

Djinni and Mich, lovely to see you two beauties enjoying each other's company. Mich did you get some ideas for lots of lovely places to take your van?

We did Cookie. So many trips we would like to take. Some will be when retire and upgrade the van.  :D

We were on the road today. Test driving our new camper trailer that DH built. We drove from home down to Mt Barker. Almost all of the trip was in smoke from the big fire at Boddington. We had forgotten that campers are often treated as second class citizens, even though we pay the same fees as caravans. We have been shoved down the back on a patch of dead grass, looking over at nice green grass.
Hopefully we will hear kookaburras tonight and in the morning. We usually do here. Tomorrow we will go into Albany, we're about 50km from it.

Is that because campers kill the grass off cookie?  Enjoy the break, it's a beautiful part of your State down there.

Not really Judy. It is usually annexes that are down for weeks on end.

Never mind Cookie you will have some nice quiet and only the birds chattering away. The only problem I found was the long walk to the toilets. We did love our trailer camper when we had one (DH also built). Clever aren't they. The problem was when it became too hard to climb up onto the bed and then down again in the middle of the night. Have a great time away and mind those fires.

Cookie it is better away from everyone more peaceful,  most people with trailers enjoy bush camping maybe that's the reason.  Have a great time.

Love the photos cookie.  We also prefer to be away from the noise when we go away.  Can't stand it when people keep running through under your annex it's so rude.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I don't think so CC  ??? I have never been to a Dr's surgery with mags that are under a year old. Having said that, you can chuckle at the baby bumps and weddings that never happened.  ;D

I actually sat there for most of that time just vegging out, speaking occasionally to the ladies on either side of me and just watching all the comings and goings to the reception desk near me. It's interesting watching and listening to older people, you rarely see young ones in these places, watching them come up one by one asking how much longer their appointment would be.  Only 1 elderly lady became very distressed, everyone else just accepted it.  I made a few laugh when I commented that it would be nice if there was a coffee machine in the waiting room - there wasn't even any water.
