Fantastic new DJ, congratulations and hope everything now goes to plan. It sounds like are going to be very busy.

We are going to Costco today, have never been before but have DD's 18th birthday coming up so thought we would check it out. If we don't feel it's worth it after this first visit we'll cancel the membership and just start purchasing while things are on sale.

I'm so pleased everything is falling into place for you DJ.  :D

You have inspired me to a bit of cleaning out too - Laundry cupboards, vanity in the ensuite and storeroom today.

That's just how it should be Frozzie! So glad to hear.
Thx beezeebee but mouth no pain, and crown fell off at bedtime!
Going to ring emergency dentist at 8am.

Well GF the energy has been a long time coming, real summer weather, warm ( for us) and bright days helps a lot and now we actually believe it is happening... For a while we didn't, if that makes sense.
Not really cooking though as no time for that. The odd ready meal and fish or egg and chips, bacon and eggs, helps on the busiest days.

I need to see the house empty to decide how little I can manage with while we have builders etc, and look at the beds they are leaving as to if they are ok or not. If yes ours go to store.  It is a tad complicated, but I am good at logistics. My Pa  used to say, long ago, I'd have been a good quartermaster.

Ah well onwards and upwards, have more washing on already as another lovely day.

DJ don't worry so much about the beds  as the mattresses. Switch and swap to keep the best. Worry about the beds later.

DJ, it is so nice to hear life is dealing you better cards now. Sounds exhausting but well worth it. Good luck with your new venture. Perhaps one day we will do a forumfest at your new B&B!?

Ah thanks cookie and everyone else. My forum friends have helped me through some dry hard times.  ;D

DH and I wonder about it all daily. Only 4 m from his major cancer surgery to this. Who'd have thought it?!!!!  ;D

Well bedlam it will be very good if any Aussies coming over want to stay in a bit of beautiful English countryside.
Just a lot to do before it is ready. Got a succession of trades lined up for quotes for windows, heating and a few alterations.
