This is actually from the calendar. I hope I acknowledged it before. It's lovely.
-
Was wondering how much mixture this makes. Is it just for one meal and if not, how do you store it - freeze perhaps?
-
It makes quite a lot JD. Probably enough for 2 meals. I'm not sure how to store it. I think it would be fine in the fridge for a while. Someone else may have a better idea. It's really yum. I made Naan Bread to go with it. Then froze the leftover Naan for next time. (actually daughter had it as 'bread' for a sandwich)

You could cook it up to the yoghurt stage, maybe cook a little more, and either freeze the paste or put in a jar and cover with some oil and then lid & place in the fridge.
Then add yoghurt etc just before use.
It is a bit like a curry paste with yoghurt added - so how do you store your curry pastes?
-
Thanks for that Thermomixer. I thought that was probably the way to go. Will do that next time.
-
I made this last night and froze the leftovers (with the yogurt already added). Will let you know how it goes. Thanks for typing recipe up. I have the calendar, but would rather cut and paste it and pop it in my Thermomix Recipe Book.

Once rubbed into meat, How Do I cook it ? :)
-
Good question Hermie !!!! I tend to cook it in the oven ( unless you have a tandoor :o :o :or).
A link to a simple recipe here: http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/1007/tandoori+chicken (http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/1007/tandoori+chicken)
You can also bbq the meat. Lamb is good too. You can do in a frypan on the stove and I have even steamed some meat with tandoori mix, but high heat is generally better

Thank you, :)

Yummy paste. I added 2tsp salt and 3 tsp raw sugar. Marinated overnight.
Air fried in Philips Airfryer at 180C 22 mins, turned midway.
