I did TRTLMTs SC pulled pork last night. :)
Really nice tho the kids found the flavour a bit strong. Would do it again but use half the sauce mix.
I also did mash, steamed veg, salad and stuffed mushrooms with it.
Snap! We had Tenina's Pulled Pork! I made some paleo rolls and brioche rolls and some broccoli salad and a kale salad mix to go with the pork...Tenina's recipe was fantastic, I'll have to have a look at trtlmt version.

Cookie your bread does look lovely.
I agree about the Aldi chocolate.
Me too...and their cheese....

Planning on having the family over for dinner again this weekend, 10 adults...two weeks ago we did curries, last week was meatballs and this week might be pulled pork burgers ☺ I have adapted a delicious chocolate mousse recipe using frozen banana, avocado and cacao which went down well last week so will try a repeat performance this week ☺

Yep, Thermilover, my standards have certainly been lowered since having #2! We are also trying to renovate our house, but it's taken a back seat because the house can wait compared to kids ☺

I've just found a stainless steel tray that fits the varoma on the TM Essentials website (perfect for Chookie's lemon chicken and others). For $32.50 I thought it was fairly reasonable, then I'll be able to donate all the bowls Ive kept for the same purpose but don't quite fit!

The TMix+ cookbook is on sale at Big W this week for $26. I bought one this morning.
I love Book Depository Chookie.
That's a great price Cookie.  I'm interested to hear what you think of the book. It's great that major stores are stocking thermo cookbooks!

Your bush style book club is probably close to what our book club might be like Cookie. I suspect that these days with The Book Depository, Booktopia and eReaders our book club might head the way of a 'source it yourself' type system.
Although I must see what our library can offer too.

Ooh lovely CC. I bet you are pleased with the final result and glad to have it all over and done with!
I always forget to to the "before" photos! -I'll try to do some 'during' and 'after' photos when we get our new floor on Wednesday.

That's a nice way to go about the book club ES. Thanks for sharing...funnily enough I haven't even considered asking if our local library supports book clubs!!

We are having new carpets fitted today, it's a two day job. :o They have just arrived so Chance and I are in the kitchen keeping out of the way. They have just asked if we wanted to keep any of the old carpet. We declined ;D
Oh gosh CC, new carpet is such a big job! Moving all the furniture etc out and then back again! It will be great when done though!

I really love this thread! I often have a read through old and new posts when looking for a new book.

Our book club (which we currently run through CAE Book clubs for an annual fee)  is considering moving to a self managed model (ie everyone takes turns in choosing a book and the onus is on the reader to source the books). Does anyone have any ideas or advice? Currently we pay $120/year to borrow 6 books (including freight/delivery of books and reading notes [which we don't tend to use])

New tmx+ book.... I think it is going to be a firm favourite. I have all the mags but this is really useable. Can't wait to have a read (after I read my 230 pages of book club book before our meeting tomorrow!!!)

Hello BZB! I made 4x this recipe to make the cake below (I think they would use a similar amount of buttercream). I did have left over, but that's better than not enough!

If my Magimix GLASS SISED toaster died I would buy another immediately.
Oooh a glass toaster! How sensible. Wish I knew about them before. Oh well!
