Lovely breakfast Chookie.

Hope today's appointment went well, Chookie.  That breakfast looks like a good start to the day.

The traffic in the city is awful.

I took our car in for a service yesterday and had to drive through the city to the garage ... I chose to go at 6.00 am because any later it would have been chaotic.  So many road works, closures and diversions, I would hate to have to drive through the city as a job.  What a nightmare.

Cuilidh, the last time I drove in the city was 45 years ago, it was a nightmare then and I have no wish to repeat it.  ;D

A sunny day here but still cool.

I think that anyone who drives in the Melbourne traffic is incredibly brave. I would be terrified. I don't mind our city but it is much slower I'm sure and we don't have trams.
Your breakfast looks lovely Chookie.

Morning all.
Had a most interesting visit with a cousin who I haven’t seen for many years.  I had found some photos that my mum had placed in a tin for safe keeping.  Many were of his family, so I thought he should have them.   We were also interested to see the new home he has built on the foreshore at Brighton.
Can’t wait to try new cake recipe.
Warmer here today before turning very cold for next week.
