I made some donuts in the pie maker yesterday.  The family thought they were quite nice.

Bought another $8 veggie box. Contained several red Capsicums  and eggplants. Made dressings for both.  Sweet and sour for the Capsicums and Chinese for the eggplant.  I’m going to use the eggplant in vegetarian sushi.
Pork schnitzel today.

Made another lot of jam today.  Made an interesting Mandarin jam.  Will post recipe . I dries some mandarin peel, blitzed it to make a powder and made the jam with this added.  A real flavor burst. Also made Dried Apricot conserve and Apricot and Pineapple Conserve.

K Atie, shame you missed a veggie box.  Not surprised they sell out.
GD coming today to help in the Veggie garden, so will make her some Portuguese Custard Tarts. The Sweet and Sour Capsicums were very nice and very different.  Will post the recipe in non TMX section.

GD number 5 turns 11 at the weekend so they are coming for afternoon tea.  Have made a jelly slice, some vegan cookies for another GD and will do some small cup cakes as well as sausage rolls & little pies.
